Spacebox Self Storage is one of the leading self-storage facilities in Birmingham, with years of experience in the industry providing safe and secure storage for your belongings. Apart from our on-site security team, we religiously work with the Self Storage Association (SSA) UK and Janus International Group to ensure we exceed self-storage security regulations.

At Spacebox Self Storage, we have staff on-site at the facility, seven days a week during opening hours *(8:30 am-6 pm)*. This is our normal access timing and the staff is fully trained and experienced to spot and handle any suspicious behaviour or activity, resulting in another layer of safety.

To ensure that your storage unit is extra safe, all the access points including outside areas and emergency exits are equipped with intruder detection systems and digital CCTV cameras that monitor the facilities 24 hours a day.  For out-of-hours access, please feel free to contact us, as our mobile security patrols will react to any issue.

Each storage unit door at the Spacebox facility is equipped with an electronic smart lock (Nokē Smart Entry system) that allows you to easily access your unit from your smart device. It is a Bluetooth electronic lock that offers a total access control system and features digital key sharing that allows you to grant temporary unit access to your loved ones. Apart from being able to revoke the digital key at any time, an activity log keeps track of the activities the unit was accessed during the time frame of sharing the key. For extra self-storage security measures, our self-storage units at Spacebox Self-Storage are individually alarmed. The security alarm is activated in the unlikely event of any suspicious activity to a storage unit, backed with a signal sent to your Nokē Smart Entry system App on your smart device and our Monitoring Centre.
